Boogaloo Assassins set time: 3-4pm


The Highland Park Unity Fest aims to bring our diverse community together with an afternoon of events highlighted by a car show and the unveiling of a new mural by renowned Chicano artist, Frank Romero.

A portion of proceeds from the event will support local charity Recycled Resources for the Homeless. Additionally, the non-profit Shelter Partnership (https://www.shelterpartnership.org/) will be on site to match donations received day of the event with tangible items such as personal hygiene products, diapers, blankets, etc.

The Details, with more to come:

  • Car show held on Figueroa Blvd: come one, come all! Lowriders, classics, muscle cars, hot rods, vintage motorcycles – this is your chance to show off your baby and take home a trophy!
  • A new mural by renowned artist Frank Romero will be unveiled that day
  • A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to local charity Recycled Resources for the Homeless
  • Ave 58 and Marmion Way will feature a pop-up marketplace with local vendors, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden where you can relax and quench your thirst.
  • The pop-up marketplace will host a stage featuring DJs and the best in new and up and coming Los Angeles bands.
  • Kids will be able to try their hand at a number of crafts and activities in the Kids’ Zone.
